Salem, NH – Angels Sewing and Quilting will host Dave Sirota, also known to quilters as “Quilt Maven Dave,” during an interactive and comedic lecture on Sunday, February 27 from 11 am to 12:30 pm at its 236 North Broadway, Suite G location. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $12 each and $6 of every ticket sold will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem.
Sirota is known in the quilting industry for his sense of humor and his proprietary "Sirota No More Tears Paper Piecing”© method of simplifying paper piecing for quilt projects. As a member of the Mancuso Show Management faculty, he teaches quilting technique nationwide, including an upcoming “Storm at Sea” quilt making class at Angels on Sunday, February 6.
“We are humbled to have Dave visit us at Angels to discuss the little quirks, passions, and idiosyncrasies all quilters share,” said Carol Lawrence, owner. “We look forward to learning and laughing with our fellow quilters and are excited to give back to our local community at the same time.”
