We are excited to expand our class offerings and are searching for an energetic part-time teacher to provide instruction to our beginning - advanced level customers. Whether you have expertise in sewing, embroidery, quilting, fabric cutting, piecing, or other related technique, we want to learn about how you would share your passion and become a part of our team. Share your talent with others and enjoy the accomplishment of helping others achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• A passion for sewing, embroidery or quilting
• Ability to demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following: 
  • Paper Piecing
  • Brother ScanNCut fabric cutter
  • Other sewing, embroidery or quilting technique
  • Clothes making and fitting
  • Upcycling clothing for various purposes

• Teaching experience a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Resume and references required

Responsibilities

• Teaching in-person classes to beginning-level quilters and sewists in our store
• Creatively engaging participants with lessons and providing helpful feedback
• Promoting classes and suggesting ideas for future classes
