Kid's Sunday Sewing Class



March Class Project - Kid’s Sewing Sunday

This month’s project is a very versatile saddle bag. Make it with two short handles and you

can attach it to a bicycle, a walker for a grandparent, or even the back of a chair.; Make it with
one long strap, and you can use it as a shoulder bag or a cross-body bag. Make it with two
long handles, and you can use it as a light-weight back pack. What color will you choose, and
what will be the purpose of your bag? Come and join us for 2 1⁄2 hours of sewing fun, Sunday,
March 22nd, from 11:00 -1:30.

Note: When you register, please tell us what color you would like for your saddle bag so we
can have a kit ready for you.

Who can register?
Any one who can thread their own machine, wind and insert their own bobbin, change their
own needle, and sew a straight line, is invited to join us.
If you are bringing your own machine, please be sure it is in good sewing condition.

September Class Project-Pen/Pencil Case
This unique little pen/pencil case has all your daily tools right at hand. It attaches to your 3 ring binder and has room for a pen/pencil, hi-lighter, 8 inch ruler, and your stylus, or anything else you need to have at your fingertips. It also has an extra pouch for your headphones or ear buds. It requires very few supplies and is easy to make! What’s even better is that you can adjust the size of the case and the amount of elastic so the case can fit on almost any size hard cover notebook.


October Class Project-Table Mat
Enjoy this cute, festive table mat on your dining room table, bureau, or nightstand. The finished size is approximately 17” x 17”.


November Class Project-Picture Frame
A simple, fabric picture frame to hold precious memories of family, friends, pets, etc.


December Class Project-Glasses Case
Use your homemade glasses case for you glasses or sunglasses.

We will supply the kit for this class. Your child should come to class with their sewing machine and all of their sewing notions. If your child does not have a sewing machine we can provide one for them to use during the class. Please email April @ april@angelssewing.com to let her know if they need to borrow a machine.

***If your child has not taken our Beginner Sewing class with Barbara please email April @ april@angelssewing.com so that we can send you our sewing assessment to see if this class would be a good fit for your child.
