Freestanding Snowflake Snowman



In this class you will learn applique in-the-hoop (ITH) technique as well as free-standing lace. The first class will be stitching the pieces, which you will need to finish before the following class. The 2nd class will be assembling the the snowman and sewing the hat together. 

Class supplies needed:
-Design in the format for your machine (PES for Baby Lock and Brother)
-Fabric- FQ 1/3 yard ( I used white satin)
-Wash away stabilizer ( Wet 'n Gone or Baby Lock Dissolve Away Mesh)
-Embroidery threads (see instructions) with matching bobbins ( I used embroidery bobbing thread)

-Embroidery needles- Chrome Titanium 75/11
-5x7 Embroidery hoop or 8x8
-Wash away paper tape
-Yarn for assembly
-Large eye needle
The items below are helpful to have, but not necessary:
-Alligator clamps
-Silicone mat
-Wool mat
-OESD clips
-Embroidery press cloth

Prep work:
Purchase the design using the provided link. Print out the instruction and read through the material list. You can Press Decor Bond/Decovil onto the back of the fabric (FQ). Prewash or steam press fabric to preshrink.
