This class focuses on machine quilting on your sewing machine. Once your fat quarter, or premade patchwork is quilted, we will then cut out the frog design and sew it. 


Fabric and Supplies needed:
Frog top fabric-16"x17" or one fat quarter
Belly fabric-14"x17" or one fat quarter
Batting that measures same as above
Buttons or safety doll eyes [An additional button can be used for the "belly button", just for fun!]
32 oz. Doll pellets, rice, beans, crushed walnut shells, or flaxseeds [spoon and funnel are very helpful]

Tools and notions:
Sewing machine with either a walking foot, dual motion feed, or capability to lower fee dogs
Walking foot, dual feed foot, or a free motion quilting/embroidery foot
Scissors
Pinking Shears
Pins
Marking Pens
Hand Sewing Needle
Thread

Special Instructions:
Trace the frog pattern (included in the book) onto paper, and cut them out before coming to class. Do NOT cut out the frog from the fabric. 
If you want your frog to be patchwork on top, sew together fabric squares ahead of time to yield fabric that measures at least 16"x17"
