Quilting-weight cottons are perfect. One bold side and another complimentary small print will give it versatility. Find one fabric that you just adore, then find a companion. Consider organics, clean, unused (new) vintage cotton, as well as upcycling something (a sheet or curtain, maybe?) with a great design.
