Class Teacher, Part-Time

We are excited to expand our class offerings and are searching for an energetic part-time teacher to provide instruction to our beginning-level customers. Whether you have expertise in sewing, embroidery, quilting, fabric cutting, piecing, or other related technique, we want to learn about how you would share your passion and become a part of our team. Share your talent with others and enjoy the accomplishment of helping others achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• A passion for sewing, embroidery or quilting
• Ability to demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Paper Piecing
  • Brother ScanNCut fabric cutter
  • Other sewing, embroidery or quilting technique

• Teaching experience a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Resume and references required

Responsibilities

• Teaching in-person classes to beginning-level quilters and sewists in our store
• Creatively engaging participants with lessons and providing helpful feedback
• Promoting classes and suggesting ideas for future classes
